In this presentation, I will share how the digital and hybrid workflow operates in my laboratory, highlighting the tools and technologies we use to optimize processes and minimize errors. I will begin with a brief introduction explaining the differences between the digital/hybrid workflow in a small lab (atelier) with a maximum of 3 people and a larger lab like mine, which has a bigger team and more robust infrastructure. I will also present the strategies I use in my laboratory, along with a summary of our production numbers and financial results, to demonstrate how implementing an efficient digital workflow directly impacts both the quality and performance of the business. Throughout the presentation, I will detail the software we use for internal communication with the team and external communication with clients, including: • Smile Cloud: Facilitating integrated smile planning between the clinic and the lab. • Exocad: Used for the design and planning of restorations, ensuring precise customization. • Matise: For selecting materials and colors, ensuring aesthetic harmony with patients' expectations. • Optshade: Helping to communicate precise color matching, essential for achieving high- quality aesthetic results. • Chat Mail, Dropbox, and WhatsApp: when and which situations we use this tools for fast and efficient communication both internally and with clients. Additionally, I will demonstrate how these software tools are applied in real clinical cases, showing a specific problem and how utilizing these resources allows us to find effective solutions, minimizing errors in the process. Finally, I will discuss the flaws we have corrected over time, such as poor communication about material and color selection, and how we are overcoming technical challenges and continuously adapting our team to the new technologies. This will be a dynamic session, featuring practical examples, real numbers, and plenty of tips on optimizing digital and hybrid workflows, elevating both quality and efficiency in the daily operations of the lab.
